It would also be nice for the Head DJ to have union training for the lights, and having reasonable sound engineering knowledge is useful to discuss the setup with crew.

A bit about the current head DJ

Hi, I'm Paul and I'm Head DJ for Rocksoc. I also handle the technical side of running our rock night, Subversion. Any RockSoc member can have a trial DJ slot at Subversion so get in touch if you're interested. Musically I'm into a bit of everything: metal/rock/ebm/goth and some punk/ska. I'm in my second of many years studying Electronics and Computer Systems. This is as much a hobby as a course, therefore I'm a bit of a geek. I also work as a member of crew at the union and get involved with just about everything I can.
